BLUE MONDAY
I know Blue Monday was last week, but as usual I'm late to the party. I've also decided 2016 starts in February and this month is a "free trial month" in which any mistakes I've made so far don't count.
I've been super busy the past week trying to salvage my degree whilst practising numericals (I actually hate numbers so it's painful) and worrying about the future even more. I've had about 2 hours to socialise in-between working a retail job, actually staying on top of university work and running one of my university's societies, potentially into the ground.
The society mentioned above is the fashion society, giving my friends more reason to tell me to go into fashion and not a corporate position, but hopefully I've found a good medium and I'm hoping to past their tests. I've been stressing out about organising our student models outfits and general admin stuff to do with a set up for our annual charity fashion show. I have to write a speech and open the show, and there's also the additional pressure of not knowing what the hell to wear. As Vice Pres I should really look more stylish than most attending, but that's not going to happen haha.
On the topic of style, this OOTD was as practical as it was fun to wear. The RAINS waterproof jacket is lightweight and perfect for an unpredictable day in London. I wore it on top of my American Apparel bomber jacket for extra warmth, and this super comfy teal towelling Topman jumper. I rounded the look off with black Levi's trousers and Navy Linea Chelsea Boots my mum bought me from House of Fraser.
Hopefully everything goes to plan, and I might even have time to go on a date ;).
Peace and Blessings,
Andre
